To be clear a Cooker, stand alone unit with Oven, Grill and Rings will require 6.0mm

Just to add heat around the external metal work of an oven is rarely a major issue, or you would not be able to fit them close inside these fitted kitchen units. Ovens are designed to keep heat in, not radiate heat out.

Manufacturers instructions or rating plate will tell you current needed. I would say not all ovens are 13 amps only mainly fan ones with no grill.

Not seen a new single oven that's not fan assisted and rated 13A in over 2 years.

No idea, I just connect it up, thats the last time it concerned me,

cooking not my department,

saying that, it is one of those 1&1/2 ovens, sorta like a range cooker-ish thing

Last one I fitted was a "Rational" combimaster - and that needed a bit more than a 13A fused spur, TBH
