Floodlight with energy saving lamp.

fitted one of the floodlights with the spiral energy saving lamp a couple of months ago (customer supplied), now the lamps blown and customer wants a standard halogen lamp fitted. is it possible to just change on these fittings or is the fitting slightly different. if i remember right the fitting did say max 300w, as it normally would but came with energy saving lamp already in.

should be fine monkey as long as you dont go above the max stated on the shield inside the fitting......

some will only take a CFL, the control gear is on the back. some are RX7 and a normal halogen can be used

but since you say spiral, its probably CFL only
