I have a few, not loads tho, got them long before they became 'trendy',

would like a couple more tbh,

Don't regret them, all represent different stages in my life, and were all thought about,

The only one i wouldn't have again is lower arm, as it's visible, my tattoos are for me, not for showing off, as many trendies seem to think.

I'm generally pretty much in favour of any body modifications that people

want to do, but I did see something on telly the other day about a girl who had her belly button removed. Not that the belly button has much of a function, but why on earth would you wanna remove it?  :shakehead

of the vanity of youth! Why on earth would you want you belly button removed :slap

Can't be bothered with any of this stuff, though I nearly got a tat done when I was younger and into motorcycles. Only didn't get it done because I couldn't think of anything I would actually still want permanently etched into my skin at 60. Had the Celtic banding stuff been around at the time, I probably would have got that done. It's simple and doesn't look crap after 5 years.

As I understand it the primary healing takes 6month and full healing takes approx 18months. So you're not that abnormal (although steps may or may not wish to confirm that :innocent  )

I'm pretty covered with ink, and with steptoe in that I don't regret a single one. Even got one or two on my legs that I did myself and don't look great, but I love them as they each represent a time in my life, and I'm able to look at them and remember. I don't wear a wedding ring as I react to the metal, so just got the palm side of my finger done - it's hidden to most people, but it's there for me to look at.

Both of those are tricky areas SSS, stick with it, they'll get there

I would like to try PTFE just to see if that makes a difference, but I don't think that would be suitable for a forward helix.

I got fed up with my never healing conch so I put my ptfe bar in from when I had my tongue done and that worked :)

Try titanium, almost all other metals have some degree of nickel in them,

I'm allergic to nickel, so very few metals I can wear, I even have to put a bit of tape on my watch back (when I wear one) as it's stainless steel, and I have to have a plastic strap and buckle on it,
