My Zonealarm firewall came up for renewal as it does yearly, this time round I was thinking, not keen on forking out for it, however the 2nd option was to receive a free year's sub via something called Trialpay

So bottom line you get something free if you buy something else with a discount offer, so I bought some ink for my printer, ok I could have saved a little shopping around for the ink, but I got

 
Still recommend Vipre from sunbelt software.

Its the only one that provides a good all round protection for your PC.

For very little expense in both processor time and pocket.

 
I guess the reality here is the fear of virus attack far outstrips the likelihood, in over 20 years I had only one virus infect my PC (10+ years ago), and I can only recall two or three files scanned having alleged virus code (these companies make a tidy living out fear, sounds like a government I know)

And one annoying false alarm where s/f from a trusted source gets disabled because the scan decides it is malware and will not let me override it

 
Tried a few over the years avg used to be good seems to take longer on the machines, using 4 not at the same time.

Happy with kaspersky 15 tokens for 3 pc's.biggest problem lateley was internet explorer but updates and all ok now.Have a company laptop if all else fails MaCaffee on it.

using Macaffee on main PC free from the bank.

No props so far.
