frustrating computer

Can anyone enlighten me as too why, whilst I am typing the cursor jumps from one place to another putting new text in a previously completed sentence.

Its most frustrating when your trying to type something and it ends up as gobbledegook

How old is your mouse? have you cleaned the roller ball at all?

i catch the mouse pad while i am typing,

or are u catching the home or end button

as tom1, is it a laptop? similar thing happens on mine. on my laptop there is a button to disable touch pad

my laptop does this, so frigging annoying sometimes.

found the solution is to not catch the mouse pad.

Don't touch it while typing then.

Has it always done this? If not then it's probably due a clean\replacement. If it has, then it's probably a newish HP one.

Tis a laptop. No mouse only a mouse pad. I try to keep clear of it whilst typing but I must be clumsier than I thought. Unless its my 'bingo wings' flapping about and catching it. :^O

my lappy has a usb mouse stuffed up its bum. Hate lappy pads
