Hi Guys,

I have a gala gar 1350 Plasma cutter and am in the process of fixing a generator to operate same. I have a 1970 GM Bedford 410Y 50kva Markon self-regulating alternator; 50/60hz; 3phase but I cannot find any information on the net about this gen. The guy I bought it from told me the AVR board needs to be replaced and it would only be safe to run lights off at present. Does anybody know if this is a big deal or anything about them, reliability, parts etc.
