GET Dimmer

Anyone know if the "GET ultimate 250w 3 gang Dimmer switch" needs derating?

I have three sets of 4x20w halogen downlights that need dimmers

Thats 240 watts you need to dim.

If each gang has its own 250 watt dimmer then its fine and well capable of doing the job.

That's why I was asking the question - I wondered if anyone was familiar with this bit of Kit . or could recommend something that would do the job

Anytime I have installed dimmers I have used the MK range, and most have been for the commercial market rated at 1000watts, but they take up two slots in the grid.

Not familiar with the GET range so I could not advise you on them.
