A poll on another forum about the best "Boy Band" made me think,

Whats the best ever all Girl group ?

I have my opinion and the Spice Girls don't even get a look in :)

I am sorry but manufactured engineered girl bands do nothing for me. Kittie are good, look closely and they are not picked for looking good for the camera, and any one of them will give you a right hook if you tried anything on.

I did some sound engineering a few years ago, one of my mates still does high level stuff even now, and I used all sorts of vocal synthesizers and equalisers to make some bands sound good. One of the reasons why most top chart bands never make the live music scene and never have any longevity.

same here. most of them cant even sing even with the help of computers & sound engineering etc.

Anything to do with likes of x factor usually gets the volume turned down or something else put on

Steptoe,s having trouble with his computer so he asked me to post for him . Can't do Youtube links 'cos no one will tell me how .

Anyway .....

The Andrews Sisters . :^O :tongue in cheek:tongue in cheek

No......Steptoe's .... I never heard of them !!! :innocent

I prefer the more modern girl groups like the Carter Family . ;)

Quite like KT Tunstall but she,s not a group . Yo ! Bro ! How modern am I ??

Would have gone for Heart but not all girl, so......... early 70's American all girl rock group ***** - just for the name if nothing else. Look out for Bradley Wiggins on piano and the love child of Yoko Ono and a monkey on backing vocals. Seriously though they could play:
