The problem am having is I have three double sockets scattered around the kitchen and not on the same wall!

At the time the simplest way seemed to be to use a junction box to join them all together. and that hows it is in the regs But I'm having trouble terminating three 4mm cables together.

When I can only get one in per block ie one line conductor in the L block. When I put the second in it's extremely easy to pull out with my fringer.

Why? It has to maintenance free since it'll be under the floor boards. Has anyone had the same issue or is it my lack of skill/ability  to read instructions?

Here's how am using the thing

1)strip conductor

2) press the terminal down using flat head

3) push conductor in

4) remove screwdriver

I would go for the lever type connectors for larger and/or stranded cable,

I feel the push in type are really only any good up to 2.5 solid.

Exactly.what type of connector are you using? Ive not come across any that need 'pushed' down with a screwdriver before,

Do you have a link?

You are not trying to put TWO conductors under ONE clamp are you?

Otherwise I can see no reason why they should interact.  Each individual conductor goes on it's own into it's own clamp.

Sorry if that's stating the obvious, but you say you don't have any instructions.

4mm doesnt really go into them have tried it once and it didnt really happen.

I think they will interact you only have one paddley thing to release them so this is what I would have thought applies pressure to both L terminals, if one conductor is the larger (could be the way cores are twisted together) the other wont have anyhting pushing on it.  obviously this isnt a problem with solid conductors.

I've not used that particular one myself, but if there really is only one "paddley thing" to release the pressure on 2 or more cables, then it's an utterly carp design and not fit for purpose.

yea, agree with wozz, have seen similar things on fancy lights,

one paddle across all terminals, so not a great system,

amatuer, hows the rush? Im in eccles on Tuesday, could drop you off some proper wagos to use, they are much much better.

If the weather is better and I get bored of paperwork / drinking beer / eating crap food / tv I will venture to the van and take a pic of the inside.

Do you not just push the conductor in, the push down lever is for just taking them out if you need to. I have used them and I don't remember pushing lever down to insert conductor.
