Quietest new year I have had in over a decade, doing nothing having a few beers and staying up for UFC141 if anyone watches it, just finished a game of chess, im usually so drunk ive fallen over a few times by now, how getting old changes you.

How ever hard your life appears to be, there are those who remind you how fortunate you really are. I have had a really bad year, but mine is down to self pity, not anything like the problems described here. A new year is a way of having a new start, new years resolutions are testiment to this, so with the new year almost here, lets all make an effort to be more positive in the future, and relax and take time to listen to those who have real problems, so we can help them with friendship and support. The old saying " a problem shared is a problem halved" is really true, I wish sometimes I had listened to my own advise.
