I have to say I think it's a daft idea!

Handwash only? My electric blanket can go through the washing machine.

I saw a similar item and it was stiff with the wires. If you are working then you'll get too hot. I was working outdoors when it was minus 15

specimen fishermen (the mad ones that stay out all weathers & all night) might go for that sort of thing.

As patch said when working you get warm any way....working Canada & North states you'd probably need one.
