They are rarely easy, boarded out so you can't get access, full off dirty insulation, low roof pitch so you have to crawl like a snail or full of peoples clutter, crumbs you should see mine. :D
We had a rewire on our house a year or two ago, we spent days moving everything to make the job easier for the boys,

my neighbours house they couldnt do as her father had put a flooring down made out of old doors, bits of mdf and god knows what else, he'd nailed the lot down and my neighbour had filled it with all her toys from her childhood, they had no chance of getting access to rewire up there.

Admin doing his homework? You've waited 6 months for him to get to the part in the course where he wires the shower up. :D

I won't even ask what he's motorising in that shed of his!

I can never understand why people put loads of nails or screws in boards in a loft. They are never likely to go anywhere with all the clutter on top of it.

:)

my loft boards are just 'floating' :)

Would make a mess of the plaster on the ceiling blow hammering nails - I would assume?

thats why you screw them down, no shock to pop the heads on the nails...
