Just joined today, looking forward to reading some interesting and enlightening threads.

Bit about me ..... well I did an electrical apprenticeship about 30 years ago now, but had since moved on to other things. I was made redundant last year so decided to get back into the electrical thing. Re-training hard (my original qualifications don't hold water any longer, but the theory is the same!) and working with a local sparks and really enjoying it!

Hello and have a good time reading through the posts, I am new and this is by far a better forum than the others, there is no I am superior than thou, that you get on some forums, and we even have a resident vet! what could be better?

Hello Glaxo welcome to the forum. Like you I trained as an electrician when I left school but went in a different direction. I went back to electrics when the other career went down hill. Have been back doing electrics for over ten years. My only regret was not getting back into it sooner. Good luck.

too true. KME's busy and quiet, Specs not on for 6 days. JL over a month. Slips is stuck in the bath waiting for the fire brigade to extract him. Steps can't take all the exportage of earth.
