I’ve been in the trade for 4 years now but I’ve gone straight from college to the working world no apprenticeship or anything just started helping my dad who has been in the industry but not electrical so I don’t have anyone to help with advice or problems he tries his best but he has only picked up so much over the years. I primarily focus on domestic and like for like changes but I’m looking more into the larger scale such as communal areas in apartment blocks and care homes and will be needing some advice any and all is appreciated on any of my posts.

Welcome. You will find most communal areas are single phase, and consist of not much more than lights, sockets for cleaners, and sometimes door controls and a fire panel. For the latter, we are only interested in the power supply to them
