Hi There,

Just downloaded the iphone app for your forum. I've been reading some of the posts and I'm finding them very interesting. I've been an electrician for 21 years and I've been NICEIC qualified supervisor for my current firm for the past 10 years. I have experience in all the standard electrical systems (Domestic, Commercial & Industrial) as well as Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Inspection & Testing and electrical systems within hazardous areas. BTW, my image isn't an example of my work....I picked it up during a periodic inspection of a rented house & in case you can't see in the picture - the cable shorting-out the meter is a piece of 2.5mm earth!! Thanks for reading & I hope I can be of help to someone....I know this forum will help me.

Hi Steptoe. Good point. The answer is no of course... It's still RECI down here but I just live a few miles over the border & have worked for the same NI firm all of my working life. I travel over & back everyday. (I'm originally from Northern Ireland).
