Well that Tapatalk signature is an option, and can be easily turned off in a few clicks.
Wouldn't be so bad if it was done properly, but it is not sent as a signature, it is sent as part of the message so you cannot hide them on the forums. Considering Tapatalk has been around for years and is meant to be integrated into forums everywhere it is not very good, and I cannot believe that "spam everything everywhere" is a default option that no-one turns off. It should be an option that board admins can control, but then the only reason the board admin would need to control is because Tapatalk is doing it wrong i the first place so it is unlikely that the option will exist. So yeah, went off a bit there.
I must admit, I find it annoying seeing it on other peoples posts, but less so than those with signatures that are as long as the rest of the content on the page. Fair enough, you can turn signatures off site-wide but I find some members have meaningful links in their signatures so don't like to turn them off.
The forum runs on IP Board which does support Tapatalk - it just needs the addon installing, I would post the link to do so but apparently I can't do that until I hit 10 posts.
Who is telling people what to do with signatures?
