Hi Everybody,I'm Steve a sparky from Bristol - returning to the job after many years away!

Presently head in books - revising everything I ever learned, getting ready for NAPIT accreditation and 17th Edition

Have kept my hand in oiver the years, friends family etc, but now looking to go full time self employed.

Just buying all the right gear after doing loads of research - checking out comments here and on others - settled for Megger 1552 - been practicsing hard , T51000 etc

Lot has changed over the years re Part P etc but some stuff thats now obligitory we did as good practice anyway (often the case - good practice becomes the norm and regulated)

Anyway i will be seeking help over the coming months so I thought what a great place to start so here I am.

Yeah mate - bought one on ebay 405 cal March 11 -guy had all paperwork, the thing is brand spanking new condition!

Getting set up with NAPIT tools etc has cost around 1500 so far!!!!!!!

Aye it's a dear old game. What has brought you back to the trade at such a bad time?!

Qualified back in 1980, joined Army, Telecomms tech, then Poice Now retired, still young(ish) and want to boost my pension - seems to be a lot of work going in Bristol for sparks -so here I am, utilising my skills.

Megger is in tip top condition, Megger are honouring the three year warranty,so all looks good there
