hi to all of you, just thought id say a quick hello, whilst im sitting here feeling rather nervous about my assessment tommorow with the niceic (domestic installer). i have a chap named mick luke coming to assess me, after talking to him the other day i thought he sounded like a nice guy. has anybody else on here been assessed by him and is there any advice you can give me for a successful application?

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys, il take all the luck you can send. i always get nervous when im about to take an exam or assessment, but always find its not quite as bad as i expected it to be, so lets hope its the same for tommorow.

Plenty of Tea and Biscuits is a good start

if you dont know something thing say so.......

if you start waffling and get mixed up with something else it wont look good

they want your money so they want you to pass

you will be fine

If you are accessed like other NICEIC contractors I don't think you will have to many problems. Been to a job today new consumer unit fitted in february this year has 30mA RCD as main switch done by NICEIC contractor so if this is the work they do you should be able to get away with murder. Anyway welcome to the forum.

well they have had the money, so we can only wait and see Pray.

Welcome to the forum Nick I wrote this whilst you where in bed tossing and turning lol.

Do not worry the assesments are there to find if you are able and confident, if you know your stuff your assured to pass.

I still get nervous when I have my assessments, there is always one of em after you! lol.
