Hi I'm new to the forums and need to post twice before I can see images etc. hence this post. To be honest I can't see the logic of that limitation.

Welcome to the forum i think the idea is to stop people getting free downloads if you imagine a forum cost money to keep running so its nice for people to input a bit before taking if you understand what i mean.

Sorry, I didn't mean to spam the forum whatever that means I thought my reply would count as my second post (it didn't).

Having made a proper 2nd post I started to read some posts only to find I couldn't see attachments to those posts until I've made 5 posts!

I can understand wanting people to contribute as well as to gain benefit from the forums, but are they really going to get much for nothing by downloading a picture? and what if I can't really offer any worthwhile comment to a post if I can't see what the post is about?

the idea is that people who stay and contribute to the forum get more benefits than those who dont contribute.

Most people introduce themselves tell us a bit about themselves etc shouldn't be to differcult to do five posts.
