Hi everyone.
I'm David, 20 years old and a student on a C&G 2330 Level 2.
Hoping to shoot the moon (looking for an apprenticeship) so that I can enrich my studying.
Based around the Ilford area. Any help, jobwise or connection-wise would be much appreciated.
On a slightly different note, it's a bit silly that we now need to be working on-site to enter level 3, yet employers are looking for qualified electricians or students who are younger than me (16-18). The site can't even be domestic, it has to be commerical/industrial.
Not only that, I keep hearing different things about how crippled the industry is. One day I hear that the electrical industry is picking up, then I hear that there's nothing around. This is leaving many trainees stuck in limbo after completing level 2.
I keep fearing that I won't even have a job in the industry by the end of my course.
Hopefully something will come of it.
Thanks guys. Hope to learn a lot from you all
