Are Electrics (Inspection) included in HIP packs?

No

They were ment to be but then they back peddled and decide not to include them as a requirement

I can confirm, had to do one when I put my place on the market. no one even asked about the electrics...

If you do a search for a downloadable pack there is a little bit on electrics

what you do find is solicitors get it in their head that the seller needs to produce a cert to confirm the state of the electrics (PIR)

i have had this twice and told them the f*&^k off (not litterally) and said the house buyer needs to pay for it...

The reason why,i think, this is not included in the pack is that the state of the wiring in domestic properties pre part p is so bad the housing market would come to a standstill which would damage the economy
