OK so I am a dummy and can't figure things out myself but how the hell do I get to see a list of what forum's are on here so I can decide which to use.

I will bet it is just so bloomin easy but I just can't see how to do it Grrrrrrrrrrr :Blushing

Forget all above I just worked it out...:innocentWet Fish

Click on electrician forum Board top left mate and the list comes up
Nope sorry it just don't do that.

Here is how I have discovered to get to a listing of all forums (I think)..

I click on the link "Main Forums" top Left.

I then scroll down to the very bottom of the page where I see a box with a drop down menu.

Drop the menu and there is the list of forums.

I don't care what anyone says, call me thick if you like, but I just do not feel that was obvious at all it took me over an hour to figure it out.

Not sure why you seem to have an issue, the default home (landing) page is

http://www.talk.electricianforum.co.uk/index.php

the /index.php in the URL is key, it should always list the forums by topic

I can't even replicate what you are doing, what browser are you using, is this via a mobile phone?

I am new to all this and still learning how it all works.

I enter via the "User Control Panel" then check out the "What's New" this is probably the wrong way to do it.

I recently posted a thread about my dog and our ever vigilant Mod transferred it to a forum I knew nothing about "The Vet's Forum".

I then decided to see how I could post in a forum of my choice instead of just answering or commenting on other peoples posts.

It was then I realised that I knew so little as to how it all worked so I asked.

So now my question is..........

Am I entering the site in the wrong way ???

If I want to post in lets say the Question and Answer Board Forum how do I do that from the Control Panel ???

Also How do I find out what forums there are for me to post in ??

Please understand I am in no way having a go at how this works all I want to do is learn because I am the one who...............

He who knows not

and knows that he knows not

Can be taught

Thank you Sidewinder I have now book marked this and will try entering via this see how it goes.

I see you have sorted it now Bwy.

But there is a "Bookmark Us" link on the right have side of the blue "Nav bar" at the top on the forum (Every page, and it is in yellow text".

Also, Click on the forum logo, and that takes you back to the main index page.

If you want to start a thread, Just click on the forum that you want to posts in (best suited to your query etc) and then you will see a Blue button on the top and bottom left, called "New Thread". Just click on that mate.

Hope That Helps (HTH). :)
