i dont do certs like for like, too much paper work as it is.

still may do certain tests to satisfy i've got an earth when needed etc.

Its the circuit you test not each fitting per circuit, so like its been said just 1 cert per circuit, every cert would have the same characteristics if done for each fitting.

One thing about issuing MWC's is that if a problem arises after you have done your job, you have evidence that all work done by you was tested and was ok when you left.

Without any cert you will find it hard to prove what you did was ok, and they may blame you for any damaged cable or whatever.

Issue certs and cover your back is my motto.

yeah well, they are moving so wanted new owner to have all the certs, alpng with the cards i droped all over the place lol
i have some vinyl labels what i stick on consumer units / alarm panels etc for stuff like this. much less likely to get lost/thrown away

Since we are being pedantic here, that's not quite right. You should still test every fitting but only issue one cert per circuit with the highest readings recorded.

You are correct, every fitting should be tested but only one MWC issued per circuit.

Nowt padantic abowt that!
