BUT after browsing th net i found this Kewtech Version!!! for

I've done PAT testing for years without the 23.. whatever it is, never crossed my mind that I need to do a course. Most of my customers get it done cheaper than what I am willing to to it for . They charge

The 2377 is the easiest exam/course to do ever!

It is embarassing easy!

I do some Pat and have both the two C&G 2377 qualifications.

My view is that the qualifications are there for a reason and should be under taken if you are looking to do Pat testing. After all you don't have to have any electrical qualifications to do any electrical work but the qulaifications are there to prove that you are competent in the area you are working.

As for Pat testing equipment, I use Seaward equipment and I would HIGHLY recommend that you stay well clear of the kit. ALL the equipment I have purchased from Seaward has become faulty on a number of occasions and Seaward have no interest in correcting it. Based on my own companies experience, the support from Seaward is second to zero of their products.

Choose equipment that is reliable and what you can reply on.

I think you find this with most manufacturers. I have had problems with most Megger, Di log and Fluke. they seem to have a lot of money for the equipment they sell and when it goes wrong they are hard to get service from.
