As title. How many female sparks working in contracting on here? I only ever had one female apprentice, who gave it up before she was time served. Shame really because she was really keen. I always supected her partner had a hand in her decision - he appeared to be one of the me cave man types.

Well we have 69 registered females on the forum (69! Hur, hur, hur.......) but I thing only Havinalarf and Mrs Electrician are actually in the trade.

I've only ever known one female sparky and she was very good at her job.

i only wear stockings for somewhere to keep me screwdrivers handy... honest officer... and these bra's are fantastic for keeping me sandwiches safe, two nice big baps today, i can hardly keep my hands off them!

Wearing stockings isn't officially x dressing in winter though Chief. Stockings are much lighter and comfier than long johns and don't cause the same panic when rushing for a slash on a cold day, but still keep the legs nice and toasty. That's my excuse anyway, and I'm sticking to it.

Shave yer legs though, otherwise they end up looking like a bank robber's face.

Yep - that's why we're Pink and Blue Electrics - she won!

My previous firm had a female apprentice - and she was damned good! She's now finished her apprenticeship and been taken on.

Sparkymatriculating still seems to be a male dominated trade then. I noticed there were a few female members and wondered how many worked in the trade.

Worked with a quite a few girls working with Painters and Decorators, on site with brushes and rollers etc but they all had their sights set higher than the blokes, as in starting their own interior design company when qualified. I bet they did too !!
