I've been pulling out ceramic "Screwitts" for years from older lighting installs and have to be honest, everyone has been a sound connection with sometimes 3 or 4 1/.044 or 3/.029 cables jointed there for forty - fifty years .

My local Eyre & Elliston (formerly known as GFE) also sell the screwits, fair flying off the shelf apparently. They've just got some weather proof ones.............wont be long before we start seeing these connecting security lights minus an enclosure ala diy fred.

I'll stick with Wago.

Yes M my local E&E are also promoting them they must be getting a deal on them. Like you I will also stick to wagos I did buy a box of there pushfits though haven't tried them yet to compare against wago pushfits.
