how to disable alarm system

And..Usually forums aren't in the business of giving out info as to how you disable an alarm
if someone wanted to break in and disable an alarm, by the time they get inside, get to the panel, remove covers and fry it, there presence is probably already known....

if you want to know how to disable an alarm without trigegering it in the first place (i.e you want to break in undetected), then your not going to get that answer here

 
Put 230v up the cable won't be sounding long after that
It is worth pointing out here that alarm cable, (or telephone cable, or CAT5 cable, as is occasionally used to connect alarm systems), typically does not have insulation rated for carrying voltages up to 230v AC. As such it may be pot Luck as to what will fry first, the cable or the bell box. The forum would never condone or recommend such actions as connecting voltages outside of the manufactures recommend tolerances for any piece of equipment or cable. There are safer ways to disable a bell box, although they do need a ladder and screwdriver. I am not sure I heard all that was being said on some earlier posts?
