How was it at your Polling Station?

Not exactly illegal , I believe , but a $20 fine if you don't , turn out is very high I'm told.
It is illegal (and yes, it results in a fine). Of course the vote does not have to be a valid vote, although in my opinion it is anti-democratic to require people to vote.

 
200 people refused a vote as they were still que'ing at 10pm when polling stations closed in Brum.Same story in some other places so I'm told.
They had since 07:00 in the morning until 22:00 at night a total of 15 hours and they leave it to the last minute to vote, who is to blame??

It took me about 10 seconds to vote once they had handed me the slip. I have waited 10 minutes for a booth to become free before. Some idiots seem to wait until they get there to make their minds up. I reckon you could easily get three people through a booth per minute.
