in the box below the bs1361 it asks for the short circuit capasity, where is this in the regs book?

If you mean the one in the service head it will be 33KA

I was told to stick 16KA in the box - but seeing as I haven't a clue what most consumer heads are rated at, especially the nice old cast iron ones, because they aren;t marked in any way.......

Don't see why we even stick a number in, as it belongs to the DNO

Gets my vote, but recently have found cut-out with no fuse, just wire and a really old set-uo with a fuse in the Neutral supply, so check everything now

if it looks like it has a fused neutral, i call NEDL and let them sort it. or if its unsealed, ill check it but still mark as sealed
