It is tough as I've just done L3 and 18th edition but struggle when it comes to domestic install as I'm working as a maintenance man in a commercial building in London and although we're meant to be electrical we only ever do Lamping, changing the odd flourscent to Led, the company won't let us touch anything, they call in Sub contractors and say it's because of Insurance, They won't let us ask Subbies (although I try)
as it's unprofessional for advice.
I need to find domestic install work with a local man /woman to cut my teeth.
