I Have Been Invited To Join "google+" Do I Want To? What Is It?

I sent an email enquiry to a building firm who may well end up building my new house for me.

I have had an email back from them inviting me to join Google+  which looking at it, just looks like another face ache type social networking place to share files.

Do I want to do this?

I'm wondering (with the lack of any other email from them) if this is how they are expecting to "do business"

So what is google+ and do I want the bother of it?

personally find it better than facebook, mostly because it is significantly less annoying. the layout is better too.

on the other hand, if that is how they want to communicate, i would be wary, or tell them that you dont want to communicate that way. they should be accommodating to that request if they are worth using.
