Tell you what for a loft light nothing I've had so far even gets near the thorsman lightstik 2 from tlc. It's mains chargable and 12v charger for the van and you can't look directly at the led's as they're so bright.

I thought Blue Duck had "Seen the Light" as "on the road to Damascus " ...Hallelujah !!!   Another soul saved .  Then he,s only bought a torch.

£36 for a torch ...blimey  Duck !

Thanks for the heads up the pos Ronson has got to go too.

I find most large LEDs aren't easy on the eye ; (

Sorry to disappoint mr evans :(

Yes it's £36 but it has to be the brightest and most well made torch I've seen so I feel its money well spent ;)

I use the famous lamp that doubles up as a weapon

Police use these too I think this is led and u can't stare directly into the torch either

I find LED flashlights difficult to work with sometimes, the light from them doesn't give very good contrast and definition. I went back to using a cheap flashlight with LED and an older maglight type (not sure of the correct name for it) lamp in it.

I have one of those in the back of my van, though I haven't been arsed to buy batteries for it so it is no longer a lamp.

Yes police use these and yes they are very very bright.

Off the shelve £1000

But i got it for a lot less than that.
Wow..... £1000. If that's not a typo then it's not cheap, that would be lot more expensive that a genset and a separate LED floodlight.
