ID Fraud

Just thought I'd make you all aware to be vigilant about this subject, as I'm a victim of these scumbags.

They wanted to transfer a couple of grand out of my account (wish I had it). Don't know where they got all my info from, but the bank said they passed all security questions, but the girl from the bank was suspicious as he didn't sound like a knackered old git, so she refused the transaction. then the bank blocked my account, so I would go into the branch. Now I have a new account.

Also found out that I had asked for a credit check. News to me.

There was a tv documentary programme on this going back a year or two ago.

It was traced back to employees of an Indian call centre that UK banks use.

A good 20 years ago I had my passport stolen and my driving licence, the passport turned up in Serbia or Bulgaria, and 4 bank accounts in Germany France and Holland had been set up with my name, I asked the police if I could have the money that was in them but they refused.

my card was once used in a casino in japan, got money back right away then just had to sign a thing to say i was telling the truth and send it back

my dad had his credit card cloned in a petrol station

statement arrived it had all these transactions on it which he didnt make

he phoned the cc company they didnt wantt to know

went to the bank showed them the statement and they put it up on their screen and started arguing about it .......then....

it updated another transaction in the states !!!!!!!!!

im here,,my cards here,, what the hell is that......
