.........................so easily what hope for the rest of us I ask ??
I've thought that BD, if they are getting took down and continually able to reopen on mirrors then prob a few of them have decided to hit back where it hurts, in the big corporations pockets,Microsoft has been hacked for years! So many holes in their software.
I think what is different is the gaming community is being hacked deliberately maybe it gets more press as most of the world now play call of duty.
Has it got something to do with pirate bay? http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/12/10/pirate_bay_stockholm_raid/
Also worth mentioning that PSN is under attack rather frequently.Microsoft and Sony have been working to restore internet platforms for their Xbox and PlayStation games consoles.
Attacks disabled the online services on Christmas Day, making it difficult for users to log on.
The Xbox Live status page suggested on Saturday that Microsoft services had been restored. PlayStation said it was getting to grips with the issue and thanked users for their patience.
A hacking group called Lizard Squad claimed to have caused the problems.
The name is the same used by a group of hackers that has targeted Sony in the past.
Microsoft's Xbox Live has 48 million subscribers and Sony's PlayStation system has more than double that number, at about 110 million users.
In a tweet posted on Saturday morning, PlayStation said: "Update: PS4, PS3, and Vita network services are gradually coming back online - thanks for your patience."
A later statement said: "We are seeing reduced reports of network issues. We'll continue to monitor."
'Member Two'A hacker claiming to be from Lizard Squad - a 22-year-old calling himself Member Two - said it had hacked the sites "because we can".
He also suggested the motive was to demonstrate weaknesses in the two companies systems.
"It's just such a huge company Microsoft... Do you not think they should be able to prevent such an attack?" he told BBC Radio 5live.
"Is Christmas really about children playing with their new consoles, or playing with their new toys, or is it about them spending time with their families and celebrating Christmas?" he added.
"I think everyone's just taking it all out of the ordinary."
Unfortunately I can only guess at what the above answers actually mean PSN hacked eh ! Hmmm .Well soon know when he comes back to remind us of his awards...
Yeah and how about those "grown ups" who wanted a few hours gaming after dinner or can they go do one too? is it so wrong for anyone to want to be able to use what they paid for without some spoilt stupid ***** ruining it.Ha ha, i think good enough for all the lazy little ***** that could not play with their toys. I saw the mother of one whining in the paper that it was "the worst christmas ever". I think they should cast their tiny minds back to events just over one hundred years ago, when they whinge about "Christmas" and it being spoilt. Besides, 12 year old boys should be running around outside, playing with motorbikes and air rifles. The lot they are breeding today will all be in wheel chairs by the time they are 35.
Want a hot tip?? Take a look at the crap people feed their kids now..... Invest in makers of colostomy bags, they are the growth market of the future.....

Sony's business servers were properly hacked as well, large quantities of data stolen and splattered all over the internet much to their embarrassment....bless themCanoeboy said:Its not hacking the servers - they seem to have had a distributed denial of service (DDos) attack on their gaming network which took them offline - its different to hacking and easy for most with half a clue
