Hi all.

Thought I'd share what I found when our washing machine started blowing fuses.

First, I noticed gunk oozing through the bottom of the PCB housing, then inside I started pulling off loads more gunk wondering what'd melted to find an intruder had burst it's guts.

I'm off to scrub my hands for the 4th time and source a PCB (will try a hair-dryer first but not holding my breath).

Enjoy your lunch all

That reminds me of a cooker fault I was called to. It kept tripping the RCD.

I warned the customer that it might be terminal as it was an old cooker, but I thought I would have a look anyway.

Opened it up, and there inside slumped over the incoming terminals was a dead mouse.

Also found the same, a dead mouse inside a CU (on a different job)

My brother in law (not a spark) was called to an office to find out why the water flow was poor.

Girls there said it was taking longer and longer to fill the kettle.

In the roof the header tank had a mouse stuck in the outlet with its' colour drained out of it.

Mouse tea anyone?

What are they doing drinking water from a header tank anyway?

Should demand a tap direct from the mains for drinking water.
