Had a accident earlier this year deemed at fault(8k value) oh well happens...Insurance renewal comes around clowns want more than double(over 1k) just done a quick price comparison online every single price less than half the quoted figure including the muppets im currently with......tomorrow they will be politely informed where to insert next years policy...

Yeah but more than double is taking the piss if you don't want the business say so and stop wasting my time plenty of others do...

I think the reasoning behind this is that a certain percentage of people do stay with their current insurer...

And a certain percentage FORGET to renew their insurance....

So if on a direct debit payment unless you stop the DD..

the assumption is to keep insurance cover going rather than stopping cover on someone who may still be driving!
