Is it possible to replace NOBO 512 with another Heating Controller e.g. Dimplex?

Hi all, thanks for looking at this. I hope you can help. I have (had) a NOBO 512 controller unit running the timed program of the hot water (via the NOBO 500) and, by mains based signalling, 5 panel heaters of a small flat - the panel heaters are models c4n203.  The NOBO 512 controller blew while a plumber was fixing the hot water heater and I think is completely shot now, I had the plumber install an analogue timer for the hot water (immersion heater) but now the panel heaters are set to permanently on (green - standby) and can only be operated manually. I just wondered if there was any option to control them again by timed programming using a heating controller, I have heard that Dimplex do a mbs controller. Many thanks for any help, advice or replies you can offer.

The controller is not connected to the immersion heater so is unlikely to have 'blown' it is more likely that for some reason or other the programming has become incorrect.

as a start point check the programming of the zones, including the last two zones (11 and 12) which have special functions and will override all other zones if set incorrectly thus causing the symptoms you describe

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply.  I am not sure of the specific cause but there was an electrical surge and the NOBO Orion 512 unit is fried and appears now to be dead (not the fuse either) - there are no lights or functions.

Any ideas? Or anyone able to recommend a NOBO specialist who could restore/fix the unit...any help appreciated thanks
