The expression " Hard nosed Businessmen" comes to mind .

Are they taking over the world ?

Cars

Car insurance

Internet provider

Its frightening because it can wipe out all the local traders , not just fruit and veg anymore .

I wish these people would stick to what they do, the AA do a similar thing , household services etc, stick to motoring FFS .

The large ASDA store by me finished a lot of the shops at the junction on our road, theres a hairdresser, pet shop and dog groomer left.

Within a year of ASDA opening we lost:-

Greengrocer

grocer

Butcher

Dress shop

Bread & cake shop

Hardware

Way of the world I'm afraid.

One of these was told, in one northern store, to stop

selling white goods which was not in the terms and

conditions under which they acquired the land to

build their new branch upon.

I don't think Tesco's would sell Sainsbury's own brand cereals, Or Asda own brand biscuits either? :D :Blushing
I think they do [just a different packet]

I installed comp network in

Bog roll factory

Bulk packing factory

Tinfoil plant

Cling wrap plant

etc etc etc

All stuff was the same just stopped the line, changed the wrap and started up again. Got shed loads of stuff for next to nothing

worked in another that produced those 'hamster hammocks' favoured by some people of the female variety [if you get my drift?]...made really good knee pads and dust masks; made you look a bit of a twonk, but heyho health and safety first and all that!......... :coat

Well I was going to say sex but if that was legalised I am sure they would.
Ooo, that doesn't bare thinking about.

Can you imagine what you'd get for the Tesco Value range!

Absolutely classic comedy, I only mentioned the dolls on the value range as they are 'hooky' :) AndyGuinness
Would this product be sold in Butchery dept might they likely label it whorse meat?

Couldn't believe they had switches and socket fronts in Asda the other.there was a full range white plastic, chrome and brass,no wonder everyone is now an electrician!

tescos are taking over the world i agree!!

they even sell car tyres now from what iv seen online,

one local to us also sells, sockets, switches, cable, cable clips, insulated tools, power tools, and i wouldnt mind betting before long theyll end up selling c/u's and try doing B&Q out of business!!!!

asda are becomming as bad aswell for selling sockets and switches, they not quite on the cable sales just yet though!

its seriously wrong!
