Not in use thankfully.

"ANY" CE marking on a BS1363 plug is fake, thus fraudulent.Think about it...
Had it been BSEN 1363...not a fake?

Just wondering.

BS 1363 is a UK only standard.

CE marking is (normally) "self certified" and, is compliance with the relevant "new approach" directives as applied to the product being marked.

This marking thus requires compliance with EN standards,

.

As BS1363 is not an EN standard, then any plug made to BS1363 and bearing a CE mark is wrong.

As I said, think about it...

...For the simple reason that BS1363 existed before Britain

entered the Common Market.

here is one I have noticed a few times on main switches,

BS 5419

EN 947-3

so, what one would you put on the cert?

I know the one I use, and my reasons.

5419, as it's "our" standard!

BTW in case anyone does not know EN 947, is the standard which mutated into EN 60947 when standard numbers were rationalised.
