12.30 am Just seen an odd light up the road , took a look from upstairs window ....Ah its a VE day party , about ten people with chairs on the pavement sitting round talking & singing " We'll'' Meet Again" ..... off key ....... Dame Vera would be cringing if she could hear it. Ah ! Its outside the house of the Polish guy & his missus with the giant Union Flag filling the front window . Now theres patriotism look you .
