It Takes All Types

In a mad attempt to prevent other threads becoming hijacked I just want to say this.

It takes all types of people to make this world go around. People from all types of backgrounds and with all types of experience. In the whole I am a young man with a lot to learn in life and in work. On the other hand I have always been street wise and good at my job.

Where I grew up in Essex you confront people if you disagree with them. You converse and then we normally agree in the end that I was right. (Tongue in cheek alert!). I am no different on a forum. I do usually see things from strange angles and definitely do not follow a consensus just because it is popular to. I think for myself, I speak for myself. If I am wrong I will hold my hand up. If I upset someone I will apologise. As in life - this will happen from time to time.

New members in all forums get a bit of a rough time and I am aware my personality only adds ful to the fire.

Please be aware however. I will never be rude or nasty to anyone to get my point across. I will debate and debate hard but I will do so respectfully.

So please enjoy the banter and if you do have an issue with me please PM me. I will talk with you respectfully and it will hopefully prevent threads turning into unpleasant places to be.

One of the main downfalls on things like Forums  & I suppose the Twittering Faceache things  is that bald text doesn't always reflect banter or tongue in cheek comments ........hence the existance of smiley facey icon thingys .  

I must say that sometimes , finding every thread turning into an argument becomes tiresome .

Its not new ,  theres usually been someone ready to jump down your throat when they don't agree with your opinion but it doesn't help the Forum as a whole .

I've worked with many such guys,  some I noticed , disagreed  with virtually everything annyone said ,  sort of like ...living within an episode of Eastenders.

I remember a guy , if you said I drove here on the A1234 , straight away   it would be " I'd never have come that way , I'd have used the A5678" 

"Yeah but you don't live in my direction "

"Doesn't matter ...no one would have used the A1234 "    So all the time , trying to belittle you.

" I had a puncture "

"Oh well thats Fords for you "

He was quite put out when I told him to ....censored !!

The thing I've noticed with people like that is that they are completely oblivious so it is a complete waste of time saying anything.

Even The most argumentitive and ignorant 'thick as a whale omelette' forum members may have a useful contribution at somemtime in the future
