From Tuesdays swapping a CU job....
Long lead earth continuity testing to the metal faceplate of 2x switches both gave an open circuit reading...
Opened up and what do we find.. A nice earthed plastic back-box, with a no-earthed faceplate!!!
Made me wonder..
Is this the most common no-earth metal accessory fault?
Or is it another common, cut the CPC's off in the back of a light fitting, (e.g. wall / downlight), problem?
Or can someone else nominate another 'No-Earth' common fault, need to resolve problem??
