Cleaning the pool out ready for when the little admins came home from school, Stood in pool - cleaning away lovely.

The temptation got the better of me. I sat down, thought I'd put my phone on the side with my trainers etc. But I hadn't.

Went to check the time as I was in the pool and there, on the bottom of the pool, was my mobile. :_|

Has anyone got a decent Nokia for sale (UNLOCKED ) or on 02? Preferrably with a good camera, for sale?

try leaving it to dry out. They can be quite resilient these days.

If it's soaked already then it may be better to wash it with clean tap water to clean out all the conductive contaminants from the pond water.

Most components are waterproof. Some PCBs get washed during the processing.

It wasn't a pond Clive, It was my Childrens' swimming pool, complete with Chlorene. :_|

Still consider giving it a thorough wash to clean out all the chlorine and then let it dry for a good length of time. It may work OK.

Did you remove the battery immediately when it got soaked?
