Well the 6ish mm as you have mentioned it was the first thing they could get there hands on was joined here and went to a wall heater in the bathroom

No no no! the earths should be twisted together outside of the JB why waste a perfectly good terminal on those pointless earths which are just there to help strip the cable, that terminal could them be used for something in the future what a dummy!

Should just about be enough room to squeeze a couple of 0.75 flexes in too!

snipping a few 'spare' strands, you should be able to get another 2x 6mm T&E in there.
