How do you go about contacting firms you don
The other way is to get your name known. If I wanted to appeal to farmers I would maybe sponsor a class at the local auction mart, or at-least get a poster up there!I agree face to face is best, but how do you arrange that?When I was starting out I decided my target sector (farmers in my case) and sent a postcard to every farmer listed in yellow pages. My hit rate was about 1 in 100, however this meant that when it came to face to face, I was meeting only people who had a need for my services, as I'm not a salesman, this suited me.
