Builder got me in to start 1st fix of the new ground floor addition which will be a salon, bedroom for mother, bathroom and extension to kitchen, when knocking out the wall to join the new build this is what they found in the old kitchen wallheadbang

Nice JB, you can't see in this picture but there was some battens fitted to the wall as part of the pipe boxing and one rawplug was touching the outer insulation of this buried cable

Forgot to take a picture, but the meter is on the old outside wall, assumed the tails went up the cavity so told the builder to take out the small window near the board and meter, which was being blocked up later, this would let me see in the cavity. Guess what no tails, asked the labour to take the plaster off below the board CAREFULLY and you got it tails chased into plaster work with plastic capping

Ah right, thought I could see terminals but it must just be the way the plaster has come off.
