Does any one know the approximate/average cost of a unit at the moment. I know it varies for loads of different factors so i have to assume its EDF, no dual fuel and no direct debit. I have given up searching.

Against my recommendations a customer has insisted i fit

Surely he'd be better off with card meters? How much can coin meters hold;)?

Hi all,

I have two supplies. One is a single phase one to the house, and the second a three phase one to the shed. They are both with SWALEC and the cost is exactly the same for both of them at 14.52 pence a unit.

Hope this helps..

I gave up trying to talk him out of it, showed him the website with card meters. He even owns a restaurant downstairs open until 2am and his office is next door so it would be no problem to store spare cards. I gave up and he wants to pay me to fit the meters.

That is the problem... the user on prepayment never has

access to that account and cannot see what is or might

be owed.

Hi all,I think he only wants coin meters so that there is no "paper trail" anywhere, he can just pocket the money, and there is no proof how much he has ever received...

Don't think he can legally do that you have to be very careful taking money for electric and on domestic you are not allowed to make a profit.

and you told the taxman about the 30quid you got for fixing a light on the way home last thursday?

the tenants probably dont even have proper rent books or contracts.

But it does give him a good excuse, for entering every property once a week to have a look around.

Anyone got any pound coins ?
