Hello all,

pricing up a job and the customer wants to be able to switch all table lamps on via a light switch, is this done via the 5A round pin?

i have not done this before so any advice welcome!

many thanks

paul

any diagram badger?so spur off ring to socket then need two have a switch live though? would i connector block the net in the socket then have a feed to switch?

thanks
Just keep them on the lighting circuit, much easier and less confusing, and more conventional.

Easiest way to do 2\5A sockets is to feed the switch and run the switched feeds out from there.

or you could wire into unswitched fused spurs either way
what i meant was use unswitched spur plates from the lighting circuit fed from the switch on lighting circuit not ring main, i meant use unswitched spur if you didnt want to use the 2/5A socket plates :p
