Took a call today

" Hi is that gst maintenance electrical services"

yes it is how can I help

"I've been tasked by my boss to call some electricians in the Newbury Reading areas, to see if they can quote on some work he needs doing for his company"

Well yes I can take a look & supply a quote

" Oh great you can call him on 01273 929270 his name is Gary Fisher"

Fine when would he like me to call

" He's in a meeting at the moment so give him a call in 15 mins"

And here the call ended, anyway my suspicious nature got the better of me & the fact that the background noise from the caller was that of a call centre & I could just hear the sales call of websites from who ever she was sat next to.

So I googled the phone number and here is what I found..

Rapidly heading towards a cold call selling webspace or the like call centre I think.

Then I found a link to this landscaping forum with loads of info on the company/scammers

Yes I have had this call on a couple of occasions, I just tell them IF the Boss wants to discuss it HE CAN RING ME.

Never ring back.

im pretty sure they are trying it or someone similar from a 020 london number, i have had the crap from the brighton number a few times.

I had this too, but spoke them and heard their spiel. The Association of Master Tradesmen. Same number as you M107. Basically they want you to pay them
