LED batten fittings ...anyone having problems ?

I'm getting the feeling that many of the latest LEDs are a crock of shytte , visions of cheapo companies jumping onto band wagons .
The better quality seems to be paying top dollar for Phillips , Crompton perhaps.
On my request wholesaler has spoken to lighting rep who admitted to problems with circuit boards in 2018 , and assured us that their product is aimed at Domestic & commercial .
